biggest pistons in an M, what are they?

looking at putting bigger pistons in my M, what do u suggest without getting to close to water jackets? and without using sleeves? what does everyone think? would I be further ahead putting a 400 or 450 engine in it? it would be used for pulling.

4.25 in a good 248 block. 4.35 in a sm-450 block. use a super M block, seems to be more of them vs a more rare 281 block in the 450s. you could use some old school technology n build either one very reasonable if your not increasing the stroke.
