wheel seized

I just purchased a McCormick super w6. The right wheel is seized. What may the problem be? And how would I fix it?

Possibly the brake bands are seized to the drum.

on my o-6 the pin that the brake band conects to was stuck and wouldn't release good luck, stumper

Wouldn't a Super W-6 have discs like a Super M? I'd start with the brake on that side, I think I'd pray it was the brake on that side because stuff inside the rear end gets scary expensive quick.

most common problem is the brake disc's are siezed. just unbolt the drum and give her a couple smacks with a ball peen hammer. then do what you gotta do.

It could also be the bearing at the end of the axle shaft has come apart,had it happen on a m I looked at few years ago. Jim.
