which one is the primary filter, as sitting on the tractor, left side or right

Hi Carl,
It should be the fuel filter on the right side of the D-179. Also it is the one with the glass bowl on the bottom unless someone swapped them around. Look for the fuel line coming from the fuel tank, the first filter after the fuel tank is the primary filter.

Thanks, I did away with the glass bowls and added on the spin-on filters, broke the glass bowls twice and that was enough of that
I use my tractor in the woods, so alot of bruch and stumps to has heck the the old filters
