What are the function of the pawls beside the levers on SH Hydraulic levers? Are they to be in a certain position? With these 2 levers can a cylinder be added to a Kelley loader for bucket tilt instead of trip?

The front lever is the stock one-way LiftAll control. Power up, gravity down.

The rear lever is the optional two-way valve. Power up, power down.

In order to make the two-way valve work, you lock the one-way valve back using the pawl, and then operate your two-way cylinder with the two-way valve.

The one-way valve feeds the two-way. You only have control over ONE hydraulic function with this setup.

In order to also control a bucket you will need a second two-way valve, OR you will need to replace the valve that's there with one that has two spools.
