So i got a heck of a buy yesterday. Working IH fridge for 10 bucks at a auction. My question is whats such a thing worth? Ill post a pic or two tomorrow but its average condition or so. It looks pretty darn good in the garage so thats probably where it will stay im just being curious.
Thanks fellas

i gave 80 bux for a real nice one at an auction couple years back. ive seen people ask alot for them, but i typically see the ads listed way more than once.............

I have one in my basement you can have. It's not worth a new fridge, but it works. BTW, my basement is difficult.

I bet the old IH fridges and freezers will use TRIPLE the amount of energy the new ones do! No tellin how much it costs to run that thing.

They can be pretty thirsty on energy consumption. I work for a refrigerator/freezer manufacturer and I put all new components in it...now it runs like a champ and uses half the power.

They may be hard on energy but they are easy on repair money. I know of some that are still working everyday. I know of a lot of deep freezers that are still operating. Most have never had any repairs done to them. These were mostly bought in the late 1940'S when electricity became available.
