each get a shot at pulling j.d. 4/16. all 3 did ok in 3rd gear. just the old 40 needs bigger shoes lots of slippage with those small 12.4 x 32" tires.lots of power there but just need it put to the ground. that plow did not hardly fizz on him. |

I worked for a farmer one summer and we pulled a 5x16" with a JD 820.... no problem. Also a couple summers later, I pulled a 5x14" with a 450 Farmall... didn't think that was possible, but it was in wheat stubble and not all that deep, maybe 6" or so. |

| like the yellow on the 9 dad has a 43 I9 thinking of painting yellow this winter it was a former navy tractor as far as we can tell from serial #. W e have a 820 2 cyl deere and 4-14 deere plow and it plays with it can pull a bigger plow got plenty of power and a 52 wd9 and hope to pull a 5-14 No16 IH plow with this spring if not think the JD will pull the IH plow and IH will pull the JD plow at plow days |

| You can't pull 4 btms with any of those tractors. I just bought another 2-14 for some reason. I also bought a 12/15' digger incase I ever finish my WD-9.
Neat pictures. Thanks for posting!!! |
