O.A.L. of belly pump control rod for 49M.

I'm needing to blacksmith a belly pump control rod for a 49M. I'm starting from scratch, so I have nothing to measure off of. I'll be using 3/8" 1020 round stock. I'm trying to make one as close to factory specs as possible, and I need an overall length. How far is it from the bottom of the rod to the little nub used for a stop toward the top? That's two measurements I need. [in inches] Can someone help me out?

TIA Patrick

Yea, I see them on ebay all the time too. One on there right now for about 10 bucks. Then you have shipping costs. No, to me it's more fun to DIY. I do have the tools and materials, why not? Piece of cake.

Tractor salvage yards?? I wish!! Non around here. The closest I think are in Corpus Christi and Robstown Texas. That's a couple hours away. There is one on the outskirts of Austin that I visited last month when I was helping my son move. Not much of interest there. Just a very rusty 41M and an 'H'. Mostly JDs and Fords. Farmalls are very rare, mostly JDs in this area. Shame. [sigh]
