AngeloB_1973 09-28-2012 20:10:42 205.188.117.74 Report to Moderator	restoring a 1950 super a and can not find any info any where on how to remove steering shaft from gear box, already have plug out and castle nut off but shaft only goes about 1/2 inches either way and stops . i dont want to damage it any help will be great thanks. Before removing put the castle nut back on tight then by turning the steering wheel check how much end play the shaft has indicating a bad bearing on the shaft. The steering shaft should not have any end play when turning steering wheel back and forth. [Reply]  [No Email]
