Topic: Super H serial# suffix

I am going to look at a 53 super H that is near a friends house. He looked at it and told me the serial number is 4351J D. I think the j stands for rockford clutch but i am not sure. But i am definitely not sure about the D. Any help would be great before i go look at it.

| | D means for 5,000 ft altitude. Not sure what that entails - most likely slightly higher compression and perhaps a different carburetor calibration. Incidentally my '53 SH has the "DJ" suffix. Good old tractor!
