Does anyone with a Saginaw hitch have any issues with the hitch arms hitting the drawbar on their H's,M's, or even bigger tractors like a 756 or 856?
It looks like it would significantly limit the range.
 
Yep,

The combination of the two is a royal PIA!

If I were to do it over again, I'd leave that factory hitch completely off the tractor.

The lower height is severly limited and the horizontal free play is almost non-existant when hooking up an implement.

Yes,(like all others are saying).

They do touch the U bar when in the FULLY lowered position,but it does not affect me using ANY of my implements.They all seem to go as deep as needed.

One thing that does make it a little easier to hook up to my Bush Hog,I leave the deck sitting on 6"x 6" post.(Keeps it off of the barn floor.) I can still hook it up without using the post,but it makes it a little easier.
 
They wouldn't lower enough for a 7.5 finish mower. Picture is of one option to the drawbar. Its not a saginaw hitch but the same can be done. Instead or two 3 inch cylinders on another hitch I had I decided to try one 4 inch with a 2 inch longer stroke. Lifted everything used on the 2 cylinder okay. Do have a sway bar for the left side but don't need it most times.

If you look at the square tubing that is used to bolt the swinging drawbar or U shaped bar it can be put at 2 different heights by which holes you put the bolts through.then you can get about 1-2 inches lower on the drawbar.
 
I just do the 6x6s to keep it off the ground really.I CAN hook up my 286 Bush Hog without them under it,but the 6x6s make it where you dont have to bend over as far. ;)
 
I completely removed the u-shaped
drawbar.Mounted/clamped the long straight drawbar
under the lower crossbar of the 3 point.works
well,and I dont have to mess with the 'obstruction'.
