a friend bought a late 40s cub that is missing the lift assist spring for the cultivators. i have one on an A he could measure if they are the same size, to get a duplicate.
or, does anyone have a cub spring they could measure?

14-5/8" Overall Length including threaded plug and loop
1-11/16" OD
5/16" wire dia
39 coils + loop
The adjustment on mine is a 1/2" threaded rod and a nut with 4-3/4" of exposed thread between threaded plug and nut.

| the spring on my A has a hook on one end and a block with female threads on the other. it is 15 1/2" long (might go to 15" if it was unhooked?), O.D. is 1 3/4", coil is made of 5/16 or 11/32 steel. the bolt that threads into the block is 1/2"x at least 3".
