Did all A's, SA's and B's use the same gear ratios?

Hi Buddy,

According to the parts book, the A and SA (and C and SC) had the same transmission and final drive gearing. Even the AV (Hi-Clear A) had the same gearing, which made it a bit faster on ground than it's shorter brother. I'm not an expert and could be wrong, but the B was in all probability mechanically the same as well.

You can buy a low speed first gear for those tractors but, yes, they all had the same gearing.

Think if you look at tractors up through 140 and 404 you can come up with a different speed for 1, 3 and 4 that can work.
