I'm new to the forum and I just wanted to say hello. I'm happy to be here...I've been [i:bce0322301][b:bce0322301]plowing[/b:bce0322301][/i:bce0322301] through the site for years, but just joined the forums as a registered member. Hopefully I can be as helpful to others as many of you have been to me! :)

The first tractor I personally own is a McCormick Deering W-6, although I've been around tractors and farming my whole life.

Farm_Boy,
Welcome. And yes, YT is a great site with great tractor folks.
When the site allows in a few days, you should post a photo of your tractor.

I can remember the day we bought a used W6 on our 140 acre farm back in Penna for an upgrade in power, primarily to run the threshing machine and the hammer mill. What a thrill for a kid around 13 to drive that powerful machine when what I had been used to were a W4 and H"s.
We like the International"s for their low clearance also as getting into/out of the barn stables was too low for an H or certainly an M.

Enjoy the W6 & don"t hesitate to ask this forum when you have questions. As has been said before, there are plenty of experts herein that are more than willing to give their considerable advice.
