Alright Guys another step closer to a complete Farmall A. It is a 1941 model and I just purchased a big ticket item, the radiator. Now for the question at hand. If a person wants to pressure test it before it goes on the tractor at what pressure should it be tested at? I understand that the tractor does not have a water pump and does not produce a high amount of pressure. So I have bought some expansion plugs and sealed the hose connections and filled with water. I want to see if it will hold water without any pressure applied? What is my next step? I thought that if it held the water without leaking down overnight it may be a good one. Any help would be appreciated.

That is the only test needed. The tanks are definitely not designed for any pressure. Puting pressure in it (even a few pounds) will possibly open top tank seams. Jim
