I'm in Springfield. We made contact on here last spring when I bought the tractor. I have it running now, didn't need too much except a manifold which I bought off a Super A about 5 miles from my house. I'll keep you in mind if I need something else. Motor parts only or do you have a carcass to pull parts from?

I have just about all it would take to build a complete B but things like a cracked block or other such things keep me from doing so. So yes most any part that a person would need I have other then a good block

Looks like a BN with all the parts on it and an exhaust lift too. I'd buy it in a second if I was semi-close, it would look great next to my B I just got running. Bought it for $300 also. Would love to have it but I'm in Missouri. Thanks for saving it from the scrap yard and someone will get it at that price!

Do you know what the weight of the B is? I am looking for a small tractor just under 3,500 pounds to pull with. I have a J.D. 50 now and getting to old to keep moving weights around. Want to get into a lighter class. Thanks for any help.

You have to add a lot of weight to a B to get it up to 3500 lbs. When I pulled my B I pulled in our smallest class which was 2800 lbs and had to add weight to get there. Should weigh about 2400 lbs with no weights or fluid in tires.

Off hand I do not know but a B would be under the 3500 lbs class. Big problem with a B is that it is so wide in the rear that many trailers have a had time holding one

I was able to narrow my B up to 54" overall but the wheels had to be turned in and mounted completely inside the cast centers. I need less than 56" on my trailer.

Yes they can be narrowed down some but all in all they are one heck of a wide rear ended tractors. I have hand 4 plus of them over the years. I even sold one that went to the land down under

Yes they are wide and if the plan is to simply move the unit a few miles the work to rack the tires and cast centers can be hard especially if one has to do it on the road. I guess it would be better to have an above the tires goose neck if a lot of hauling has to be done.
