| after cleaning, I use some Lucas on the weight pivots and the front plunger
to give it some protection on initial startup.
the thrust bearing, I use a small amount of good wheel bearing grease
if you mean the distributor drive housing of the governor, yes

| You could, but a coating of engine prelube from lubriplate, or just a light coat of grease on moving pivots will do fine and not contaminate the engine oil with thick grease. Jim |
