Bellhousing

Trying to verify, are the bellhousings the same for the H, 460, 656 and 666? I read someplace they are but the 56 and 66 have a larger clutch. 11" vs 10.5"? Can the H bellhousing bolt onto 656 tranny?

They have the same bolt pattern.

You cannot bolt an H bell housing to 656 transmission, though.

You could bolt an H front to a 656 rear. That's about it.

The 11" clutch came out on the Super H and was also used for the 300 and 350 as far as I know.

Also, the inside of the later models is different on the inside because of the live PTO.
