47 cub update running

Hi all it's been a while since I've been able to work on my cub. Ground the valve seats, lapped vavles to seat, put new rings, and sent carb out for rebuild.
Well tried to start her and she just would flood out hit and miss and couldn't get her to stay running. I've taken the carb apart way to many time so I told the wife I'm getting a new carb.
Ordered replacement from YT and got it today. Put fuel filter on fuel line and carb on. Turned on gas and away she goes and runs fine. I know you all say that the cub carb. is easy but it wasn't for me. Frank
 
With respect, and admiration for effort well spent. When the tractor stops running as the filters plug up, replace it with a gravity flow filter from NAPA. small pumped fuel filters will be more of an issue than none. Good to here it is operating. Jim
 
I tried about a dozen times set it to Motec Engineering just to see and it worked for about a week but could never adjust it. Bought a new cub replacemnet one from YT looks like the original one.
Now Motec has done 4 different carbs for me and this one just was junk the other 3 work great.
