followup to 450 gas line question

Thanks for all the comments they were very helpful. I have another simple question, does the screen in the sediment bowl go on the valve side or glass bowl side of the rubber gasket. Thanks in advance.
 
I'm "pretty sure" screen goes on glass side..........now, all you need is someone who really knows. If you can believe the illustrations in parts breakdown, then, my 'pretty sure' is correct, but I know of cases where the breakdown illustrations are wrong, too. Since I usually don't remember, I put it on whichever side does not leak & call it right!
 
Sorry about the question . I just checked the manual and it clearly shows the screen between the gasket and the bowl. Thanks again.

o apology needed.....it was a legit question. I just get a chuckle out of 'maybe', 'I think', etc. as "answers" to a man's question. Figure he already knows that much. :wink:
 
Gasket goes first. Notice the glass has a step the screen should fit in so the glass rim contacts the gasket.
 
Ahh I was wrong... have to right that one down... first time in my 21 years on this earth.... I almost got that out with out laughing out loud. Glad you got it figured out.
