Wide Front Super H

How many of you guys have seen a Factory IH Wide front on Super H? I have one on my 53 Super H. I've seen them on regular H's but not to many on the Super H. Just wondering this a photo of my Super H

There is a SH on ebay with a wide front as well as 2 others in a package deal in Yuma AZ

I guess that I don't know how to add a photo to my post. It went somewhere, but it didn't go to my post that I made. Any comments though would be appreciated concerning how many wide front you have seen on Super H's......

Maybe because there isn't a lot of Super H's out there. Yes wide fronts are cool but the narrow front is better for most things folks were using Super H's for when they were new. I suspect new 80% or more of them were narrow fronts. Remember some folks that were buying tractors back them got into a W-4 or Super W-4 Super H's were introduced about a year after the Super M's and before to long they were into 300's & 400's.

IH only made around 30,000 SHs,compared to almost 400,000 Hs.I suspect the ratio of wf is about the same for both tractors.That said,My SH has a Norden wf.Works good,acctually turns tighter than the 'factory' wf.

I had one on a 53 stage 1 SH. I didn't like it at all. Reminded me of the old song that had a verse that went "give me forty acres and I'll turn this rig around".

I much prefer the tricycle front end and it's near zero turning radius.

Picture is the SH I took the wide front off of.

What wide fronts will fit a H, will one off a M or Super M fit an H? I an getting ready to redo my fathers H and want to add a wide front to it

M or Super M will not fit. Yes, it could be made to fit, but not correctly. You need one from an H, Super H, 300, or 350.

Brand new Schwartz wide fronts are readily available.
