has anyone done a 153 swap and mounted alternator up under the hood

The 153 is basically a 135 without sleeves, meaning that a repair may consist of a rebore, I would use the 135. Due to the small size of the hood, an alternator probably won't fit out of site. Due to appearance I don't care for an alternator on the side of the engine -- but it's your decision.

I got the motor in months ago but just getting around to the alternator hopefully this evening I will b able to post picks of what had to be done to make it fit
