where can I find a the gasket for the push rod cover for my M? I was told that its the same as the water jacket cover but its not...I hate paying Case/IH prices when I can get it somewhere else. The dealer is good for some stuff but the small stuff is killing me. Thanks, Anthony

You can get a roll of rubberized cork gasket material and cut your own. A roll costs $5 up here and it is handy to have around.

I've not found that gasket offered anywhere except as a part of the complete engine gasket set. Case-IH is probably your best option.

You can get them seperate from a complete gasket set. They are not to bad from IH...just got one for a SH a couple weeks ago. Seems like it was $13 or something.

I just replaced mine. IH part #49029DB. It is cork and is much different from the water header gasket which is paper and the pushrod gasket doesn't nearly have as many bolt holes. $17.26 at my IH dealer. I hear ya about the small stuff killin' you - me too.
