Farmall M water pump

Can I rebuild one of these or can I buy a new/rebuilt one and if so where is the best place to purchase one?

I think you can rebuild them others here can yell you better than I, but I just replaced my water pump, went on ebay and bought it from plowboy equipment, paid around $200 i think. Put on my old fan blade and looks just like the original.

You can get everything you need from Case-IH, but depending on the condition of that 70 year old pump, it may be beyond rebuilding. Brand new water pumps are available.

I have rebuilt 4 or 5 of them myself. I just replaced the bearings, seals and packing. Cost was around $70 per pump.
