Went down to an estate auction in Akron, Colorado today. There were two IH self propelled combines, a 151 and an 815 diesel. The 151 looked really nice and clean and brought $1750. The 815 also looked pretty decent, but only brought $2000. But the real kicker was the IH 660 tractor. It was a gas tractor, with a Dual 3100 loader on it and only had 2400 hrs, if the tach worked. Definitely needed a through cleaning up and paint job, along with a tune up, as it ran kinda rough. The final bid price was $16,500! I couldn"t believe it. There were only two people bidding, and you could tell that the one bidder was not gonna give up.
