Got the F12 unloaded last weekend and got some better pictures. What do you guys think? I have a nf pedestal with steel wheels on its way. Rear fenders are rusted out but I dont think they will be difficult to have made since I have something to duplicate. Not sure about the magneto yet but I have a hand crank on the way as well. Gas tank and radiator are both clean, radiator was drained previously.

Seat is welded up and will need replaced, brakes need adjusted and I think someone on here mentioned it had a kerosene hood? May attempt to track down a correct one.

Id paint it. Looks like either someone started to at one time, or theres been quite a few parts changed. Theres not enough "patina" to me to keep it like it is. BTW, if you make new fenders, Id be VERY interested in the ones on there now. (Dont mean to be insultive, so please dont take it that way!)

Do not paint it!!Looks like it could be original paint. Not too many 'originals' left.If painted it then would be just another repainted old tractor.

What a beautiful piece of iron...it'd be a shame to paint it!

Yes, I like that. Like others say, don't be going and painting nothing. Leave it as-is. Just fix what has to be fixed.

Really nice find. I love the fenders on it. My husband used to have one, but it did not have fenders.

I too would vote for keeping it in its work clothes. But obviously it it your tractor to do with as you please. I just happen to love faded paint or rust.

Put the front on it and leave it alone. Its a good find,Thoes fenders are good shape, anything else will ruin the value, and dont paint it,If you do it will just be another F12

Quoting Removed, click Modern View to see

When I see old equipment like that I'am amazed at the engineering specs that were used back then. Metal today will not out last Mother Time like those have. Nice find in any bodies book. Look forward to seeing restored pics.
