What kind of problem can I look for to clean the hydraulic screen on a 240 Farmall? Any surprises I need to know about? |

| My hydraulic system is squealing either up or down--fluid level is one inch below the filler cap--any suggestions what to look for? |

| Not sure what you mean by "surprises." You mean like a swarm of spiders come pouring out the hole after you remove it? Nah, nothing like that, unless the tractor's been sitting for a while with an empty hydraulic tank.
The screen is meant to be easily removed and cleaned, so nothing is going to go "SPROING!" on you, with small parts flying in every direction. |
