Farmall Fast Hitch Disc

I bought this disc just outside St Louis MO when I was at the RPRU. Finally
got chance to use it and it works perfect. It's 8 1/2' and my 300 will pull
it in 4th with no problem. It is heavy and even with all the weight in front
it's makes the front end light when up.

It has one disc that is about an inch smaller in diameter than the rest,
pictured. I suspect that it must be a replacement.

However do they/would it wear that way?

Any body know what model this disc harrow is?

Is the draw bar welded to the back center original or farmerized to pull a drag?

The hitch is not from the factory, I ran mine till I had four broken blades and then I replaced all of the front blades. I pull mine with a Super C(I cut down the points)2nd gear up hill and 3rd down:)

Nice looking set up!!!
I don't have that disk however, on all the tandems i've had we ran smaller blades on outside fronts so to throw less dirt and smaller rears outsides for a smaller furrow.

Very nice. Love those weights on the front. Is it an optical illusion or is on rear tire way larger than the other one.

Both tires are 15.5X38" on 14" rims. I bought those cheap and was sweating how they would work, look, and if I would like them.

No apparent difference in performance and I really like them. It gave this tractor a nose down appeance.

Dean, Your disc is a model 34U-F36. They are a really nice disc. Your disc looks like it`s in really good shape. I have one just like it, not painted near as good as yours ,but mine is only a 7 1/2` wide. I have a pic of mine in the Implement Photo`s section at left. Type in 34U in search box. Gotta love them fast hitch implements !!

I agree very nice. I use one on a 350U and it is steered with the brakes when the disk is up. (but that is fun!? Grease the bearings twice a day, or every 3 to 4 hours. Use thick sticky grease like Mobil1 synthetic. If there is a small disk on only one side, it may have been the way the farmer used it and adjusted to throw dirt with little ridging,
OR it is a replacement that wears faster than the originals or was wrong to begin with. I have seen smaller end disks on several units of different makes. Adjust the crank to soil conditions to reduce ridging, Jim
