H won't continue running

I have a 1952 Farmall H thst won't keep running. It will start but after the carburator runs out of fuel it quits. What do I need to do to fix this problem?

Clean the screen at the carb inlet fitting. Clean the screen in the sediment bowl. use a wire and clean the tank to sediment bowl connection. Use a very non sparking (LED) light to look into the tank to see if it has dramatic rust issues. If it does, it will need to be cleaned by a Radiator (usually) shop, and coated with a tank sealer. The issue will then go away. If the tank looks clean, all will be well just cleaning the parts. Do not put an inline filter in it. It just wastes money and adds to issues. The existing system is great if clean. Jim
