when I mow with belly mower my 100 gets hot it starts to skip under load. if I cut it off it will not start till its cooled off. is coil bad? |

| More than likely the coil. If the coil is to hot to touch that is the issue. Check the spark with a extra spark plug when it won't start. Ground the body and watch while it is cranked. Be careful to put it in Neutral. Jim |

| Bad coil will cause a lot of things. A miss or a surge or one to die etc. Thing to do is when it happens pull the coil wire from the distributor cap and check spark. Do not wait so much as 5 minutes to do so. The spark should be a blue/white and jump a 1/4 inch gap or more |
