Finally got 806 back out to work on PTO, littel pin is sheared on spool valve. To get back together, do you hold the bottom vavle up from the bottom and repin the top half to it? The bottom valve wont go back in from the top?

Also, is there a recess that will stop this hytran dump or just go ahead and drain it all already?

Well the ONLY WAY to install the little pin is to pull the hitch support and remove the plug and drop the valve out the bottom THEN you install the pin and you make the two halfs one LONG valve and reinstall from the bottom . Then ya need to reset pressure and here ya need the special hyd. fitting and a gauge that will read 600 LBS. and you need to do this with the hyd.oil at operating temp . Iset them to 235-245.

VET, you are icon here and I am not arguing but...the bottom valve half will not fit thru the hole from the top, and the top vavle half doesnt look lke it will go up thru the little hole from the bottom. I still have to find a pin and I was gonna push the bottom half up as far as possible and try to get it sticking out the top and try to pin it that way. HELP ME OUT HERE....this doesnt look as simpel as everybody says. I do have a flo rater I can get my hands on with all adapters so setting the pressur is no problem later...gettin this thing mated and pinned is my problm.

NOW listen to what i am telling you here.Remove the hitch support six bolt and get it out of the way , Place a bucket under the valve plug and remove the plug then put the plug back in . This way you will not loose all the oil . Remove the top nut off the valve stem and remove the top nut and Pull the stem out . Now that you have the two pieces out go to Case I H and get the PIN then you take the two halfs of the valve and install the pin, Now that you have one LONG valve remove the bottom plug and stuff the valve UP into the PTO and replace the plug and put your hitch support back on Then install a new seal and O/Ring and Dust boot . Now put the square nut back on and hook up the linkage , check the hyd. oil level and add what ever is needed . Install the special test fitting (this can be ordered from Case I H ) and hook up a gauge and run the tractor TILL the Oil is WARM. then ya you screw the valve stem up into the nut deeper with the PTO engaged and set it at the 235-245 .

Got ya, I saw the error in my thinking....this thing has to be broken down further. I will let you know when I can get a pin and boot, and trust me, I will do it exactly like you said.
