When I look up the number for these seals I get 3 choices for each. How do I know which one to get.Was wanting to get them from NAPA.
Thanks for your help. Jerry
It is a 1950 model if that matters

NAPA can likely cross any of the three IH numbers you have. Folks below have given you the numbers. But...next time just take all three of the numbers to NAPA and they will cross the seals for you and get the correct seal. (That is if you have a NAPA guy that cares. Some are better than others!) The new seal won't be like the original, as the seals have changed and are much better now than the originals. Some say that you should use two of the new thinner seals in place of the old style thick seals. I've always used just one and never had a problem as long as the shafts that the seals run on are in good condition. If the shaft is not in good condition, use a speedi sleeve or have the shaft resurfaced. The speedi sleeve is more expensive than a seal, but likely much cheaper than a new part. Most likely the reason for the multiple numbers you came up with is that IH changes the seal type to a newer version or they get them from a different supplier. Likely any of the numbers you found would fit the application.

Just got a transmission input shaft seal from case IH last week to see if it was better quality than the NAPA seal. Ended up being a simple single lip seal like the SKF NAPA sells.
Present dealer # 383159R91 - $13.36, NAPA # 18733 - $13.49.
Counter shaft seals, dealer #71701C1 - $15.74.
NAPA # 13602 - $12.99.
Doesn't make sense the smaller single lip NAPA counter shaft seal costs more than the input seal.

well i thought that these old tractors were more of toys and didnt think down time played into it, and when restoring one no such thing as down time.and ordered parts only take a day to get anyhow.and so many parts people want the old part in their hand so they can order the correct one , as they dont even know sh!t about old stuff.

Hey true. I like to have all my parts ahead of time. It kills me to have to wait on that one part.

The numbers are superceeded from original so take the last one (highest numerals).

I presumed you were looking in the IH parts listing with my earlier post.

357967R91 SEAL TRANSMISSION DRIVING SHAFT
356503R91 SEAL TRANSMISSION COUNTERSHAFT

These are the latest numbers I find on line.
