My father-in-law recently bought a 46 H. He was wanting to put a flashing light and a SMV sign on the rear of it for road travel. My question is where would you mount them, so it's not in the way of getting on or off, and so they don't interfere with each other or the rear work light? Thanks for any replies. |

The SMV mounting socket can be installed horizontally on the PTO shield, and then the bayonet, bent at a 90° angle, can be slipped into it.
There are self contained, battery operated, LED flashing lights with a magnet that can be mounted pretty much anywhere, or you could build a bracket that bolts to a frame rail and extends high enough to mount a magnetic base, rotating beacon light. |

| I had previously mounted a back-rest on the seat, and a 3-point hitch. So I mounted the work light on the seat, tucked under the back-rest, where it is out of the way. Mounted the SMV sign on the part of the 3-point where the top link bolts onto. It is all out of the way. The light is up high, so it is really useful. |
