how do I order new rings what information is needed to order rings for a c123 distillate eng.

Measured bore size is important to assure that someone has not bored the existing sleeves. Ring groove depth and width including the oil ring, and number of rings, including the oil ring. The brand and size and number of rings is often different when "kits" have been installed. We cannot tell what you have. Jim

You should install a new sleeve kit. Have the crankshaft measured at your local auto machine shop for wear and buy your new bearings from them. Doing it this way you will have a new engine. Hal

with so many years gone by,
only choice is to take it apart first and
see what you have, then order.
could be anything in there.
if you are just re-ringing-honing
and new bearing shells, pull them all.
many I've taken apart had different piston styles-ring count
in different holes
if you have them out,
bore, number of rings 3-4, each ring/ring groove thickness,
and whether you want to run a chrome or cast iron top ring if both available.
