What is the deal with this tractor!?!? Waaayyy to low on the price, and it looks to be "restored"!! This seems like one of those 'too good to be true' cases.

Look it up on eBay. Farmall 130 tractor. I believe the bidding is at around $800.00

Still eight days to bid. the last few seconds will determine what it goes for.
After getting burnt a few times, I never bid on anything till the last minute.

It[i:3ed7090e59] is[/i:3ed7090e59] a pretty little thing.

All I'm saying is that they put it in there really low and no reserve. I can't believe they'd do that. I wish it were closer because if you came across that same tractor in alabama at auction, the seller wouldn't take less than $3,000 for it.

One of those 50 foot paint jobs. Painted the tires too. Grill is in very poor condition. Imagine the rest ot the tin not much better. There's a reason all thephotos are from long distance

They tried to sell that tractor on Craigslist for a while.

It's legit. The tractor is a dolled-up piece of junk.

They're going to get more for it on ebay than they ever would in a face-to-face sale, and the buyer is going to be disappointed.

There is no need for a reserve on eBay. All you do is purchase your own tractor with a different user name and it is even better than a reserve. They also know what similar tractors are going for and what they need to get. I would guess they know the eBay number is more than what they need for the tractor. I think it looks better when there is no reserve as well. Kind of like when Mecum puts no reserve on a car/tractor that they know will sell just fine. It gives the buyer extra confidence.

It does give the buyer extra confidence, although sometimes it could be a "Buyer Beware" in some folks' eyes. Also, what if the tractor doesn't go for anywhere NEAR what you want? The seller has peice of mind with a reserve. Why do illegal bidding to raise the price, especially if it was wayy off of what you wanted. It would look really fishy when the price jumped $1,500 or so.

I am with you guys on this. I bet it is a 50 foot cosmetic job, and a peice of junk mechanically. As always.....too good to be true. I reckon I've been lucky with buying tractors off eBay. That and just dealing with plain good ole folks!

I would like to give Thanks to Larry Jones of Kentucky, B & B Machinery in Kentucky, Dean Hinton of Kentucky, Danny in Walton, KY, Jeff Potts of Tennessee, Mike in Missouri (frequents Farmall Cub forum), and many other good folks. THANKS FOR BEING HONEST, GOOD PEOPLE TO DEAL WITH!!
