Farmall H and super H

Not much really especially if the H has been rebuilt with thin sleeves and oversize pistons. The difference is in the gear ratios. Must noticeable is a higher 4th in the Super H

Late H tractors got the crankshaft bearing journal size increase along with all the supers.
H blocks came with 3-3/8 inch pistons. With thinwall sleeves the bore is increased to 3-7/16. Sh came with 3-1/2 and increased to 3-9/16 with thinwall sleeves. Cylinder head combustion chamber shape for gas engines was changed for real late H and SH. Manifolds and carburetors were different. Timing and some cams and cam gears were different. Late oil pans used a drain plug with a seal ring. Most H used a pipe plug.
I have a H with 3-7/16 firecrater pistons that runs pretty good. Also have a SH with 3-9/16 firecrater pistons thats using some oil and getting lower on power but the super still has a good bit more power than the H. Both are running distributors with 22 degrees advance.
