c wide front

I am replacing my narrow front end, with a wide front on my C.Can anyone tell me what size are the bolts , that hold the axle into the steering gear housing assembly?
Thanks George

Dont throw or give away the narrow front because you might not like driving it with the wide front end. I did that once and about a year later got rid of the wide front,it was just to hard to steer. Erik..

I would suggest you go to the CIH web site for parts and look it up. I changed one out on a 200 for years for planting and switched it back for the rest of the year. Seems like the DOT bolts were 1/2" course thread and about 1 3/4" long with a lock washer but don't hold me to that. I agree that you will not like the way it drives. It will make a man out of you if you have to do much with it.

I have a wide front on my 54 Super C,its a beautiful tractor. Its a little difficult to manuver around when working my large garden. If its going to be a restored-show tractor put the wide front on it. If you are going to use it alot- keep the narrow front.
