Seat time plowing today

Finely got to work the supper C today. I have all ways like the way the C-20 fast hitch plow does.

Yep, all the old C/SC plows do a good job. That don't look like any of the red Georgia dirt I ever seen.

Wish I could find a hitch for my C-20 plow.

Looks like Fun Larry!!!

Woke up this AM and it was 3 Degrees F. Kinda hard plowin here in south central WI.

Super neat pics!! I have a Super C with a C-20 plow and a Ford 2N. So you really touched a nerve with me! Our first plow day is April 18. How about some more pics?

Sure takes me back a ways... spring of '56 through '60 when I was in high school, I pretty much did all the field work and chores while Dad worked as a carpenter. We had a new ('55) Super C with a Fast-Hitch and a bunch of F-H implements on 100 NE Iowa acres. I had [u:fc91b047e5]lots[/u:fc91b047e5] of seat time on that Super C.

If that is Longleafs in the background and the hardwoods are already budding, you have to be below Macon. No hill so it must be somewhere around Cordele to Americus but south of Perry if west of the interstate. I am from Ga. In what part is this? For those of you who do not know, the coastal plain in Georgia is dark sandy loam or loamy sand. Above the fall line in the Piedmont is the red soils ranging from heavy sandy loams to sandy clay loams with a high iron content that rust to red. Very little dirt farming happens in the Piedmont and the red soil does better with disk plows. Most all dirt farming happens in the coastal plain. Larry Mc
