LMJ 08-28-2012 15:30:30 50.45.118.153 Report to Moderator	Our F-14 starts great when it is cool but once it warms up it is another story. The mag has a new coil,points and condensor. I have tried other mags. Beings it is a hand cranker it isn't long before this guy is dragging. Not sure if a different range plugs would help. I know another person with 3 f-14 and he has starters on all of them because he says it is the nature of these but I have read guys having ones that start great. [Reply]   [No Email]

The push rod to pump can cause poor fuel flow if it is worn. I you have good coil in your mag spark should be ok also check your points. After that it is all about float in carb adjustment. I must say not one of mine is the same. Some like a little choke and others no choke. The one I never did anything to starts the best. So I guess that means I still don"t know how to adjust them right. oldiron29 [Reply]  [No Email]
