I am stumped. I have a W9 with a C on the serial tag. I thought that a C stood for LP in the farmall lineup. My W9 is LP and it all looks factory. Now I know that there was not suppose to be any LP W9s but mine is and it has a C on the tag. ??? Can some one help? |

| Where is the C on the chassis tag? If it is in the prefix (WCB) then that refers to the model. Every W-9 has a WCB prefix. If the C is in the suffix, it could be the following: W1C = Gasoline-8000 ft. altitude. W3C = Kerosene-8000 ft. altitude. W12C = Pneumatic Tires-Swinging Drawbar (I am confused on this one because W12A is the same). W17C = Distillate-5000 ft. altitude-7 m.p.h. High Speed Gears. The info came from the serial number breakdown in a parts manual. There is no mention of a LP W-9 being made. |

| Thanks for the info. There is the first C in the prefix like all W9s but this has another C at the end with an F and a RL. ??? Numbers and letters are very easy to read. |
