Just bought a 560 diesel with the M&W turbo kit. Couple questions: This tractor seems to idle awfully high, when you add a turbo, does the idle need to be turned up for oiling purposes or cooling purposes?? Also, i know a lot depends on how much the pump got turned up but approximately what kind of horsepower can you expect out of a IH 282 with the turbo kit installed? 3. I have seen a few of these kits and they usually install a dry element filter externally, the 560 i got has the standard oil bath filter is this bad? 4. Also, is there a change in the viscosity of the engine oil? or shoudl a guy still use rotella 15w40. Thanks in advance!!! |

| IIRC old Hugh McKay (RIP) used to claim that his family operated a 560 turboed to 90HP on the stock rear end and never had a single problem with it. |

| My neighbors had one that put out 107 on the dyno. Was still running good for them when they traded it off. Jim |

| I have a 560 D with m&w turbo kit. It has been on it since new. Turning 650 rpm art idle and 2350 rpm high. Dyno read 95 HP more than once. Pto holds strong pump has had work done. Changed turbo last winter with new TO4 from area diesel in carlinville Illinois. Air cleaner is oil bath and I run cen- pe-co 15-40 oil |
