Farmall H Dust Cap

Can anyone tell me about these dust caps? There on a 1945 H.

They are used with a mounted corn picker.

The part sticking out on the dust cap is to attach the front, corn row divider when a number IH 24 mounted 2 row corn picker is used on the tractor.

You should have gone to an IH dealer they would have known case has not built tractors in years!

Yep those hubs are to hold up the front snout of a corn picker. I had one

also when you get normal ones there is an age break in production with fine and rough threads. Later are the fine thread. The breakthe shows up onthe case ihih online parts breakdown... And do not throw away those hubs! Soneone somewhere may need them!
