Super C with 5 ft woods mower, recent total engine O/H, fair tires, rattle can paint. 2200.
Worth driving 140 miles?
 
Absolutely. I've driven 10 times that far just to get a cultivator for one. Go get it before he hauls it to the scrap yard like a lot of other men are doing.
 
That seems to be pretty close to what they're bringin here on the Left coast, with no mower. I'd darn sure go 140 miles. I'll bet I'd hafta go least 2X that far.

Seems a little high for one unless it has a Fast Hitch. Most I have seen with a belly mount mower do not have that. I'd also want to see any receipts and documentation on the engine rebuild for that price. If it has a F-H with it, mower in good condition and rebuilt is legit, it would be good.
 
I paid $700.00 for a Super C with the fasthitch and the plow. It had new looking tires, but one front tire was flat. They must have run it flat for a period of time as the tire contained a lot of fine gravel and it ruined the tube. I washed out the tire with a hose and installed a new tube. I also replaced the u-joint on the steering as it didn't have a zerk fitting for greasing. I sold the tractor and plow for $1895.00 and I had a lot of calls on it.

I plowed my garden and it blew the one of the hydraulic hoses on the last pass across the garden when I went to lift the plow. I made up two new hoses and replaced both hoses. Hal
 
I sold one a year ago to a 14 year old for 1900.00, any body else it was 2100.00
