Guys, A while back I made mention of a 1966, F-656,LP I acquired, to keep it from going to the Crushers! Got it running nicely here is my Question .......
Since the head lights are singles, mounted just forward or the TA lever, in the white band on the hood. Making it a factory Non-Fendered,,, IMO.

I really don't like not having a fender on it! So Other than a Regular ol Flat top fender(don't want to move the lights) WHAT would be a correct Clam-shell style fender for this tractor?
**
A set off of 460/560, or 06 series if they could be found , regular H,M set or just what? Your thoughts Please, good, bad & ugly!

In our area most Farmalls were sold with no fenders at that time. If you want to retain the cowl headlights, you can install a set of 400 thru 560 clamshell fenders. There are minor differences but any of these will fit, as will M clamshell fenders. To be completely correct, however, if you want to please the correct police, you will have to go with the flat top fenders and move the headlights to the fenders. I don't think clamshells were an option on the 656, either none or flat tops.

I agree with Harold. The flat top fenders are also much better at keeping the mud and rocks away from the operator.

I found 381373R91-fender, pan type, in the parts book. 504,656,544. Maybe others? A22(A), Chassis,Radiator and Sheet Metal.

For what its worth, Im not sure that having lights on the sides necesarily means it was non fendered. My dad has an 856 with flat tops and lights on the side. the 66 series had lights in front and on the fenders.
