Any thoughts on Fiat Diesel engines in Case/IH vs Cummins

I know nothing of the Fiat Diesel but, I do know the Cummins is tried and true. I know Fiat owns Case/IH but, they may lose some loyalty over this move.
What do you think?

You might want to check on Newagtalk.com it is a sight for new equipment, but caseIH has had that motor for a few years already I have the Cummins in mine so I don't know, but have not heard any bad things and they just were rated for the best fuel use of all trators.

From a retail CNH dealer perspective....It's nice to not have to mess with Cummins for warranty work or parts that we can't get through our own parts system.

Regarding reliability, the Iveco is a well built engine that performs well.

I like 'em.

Probably a re-badged Cummins. The Iveco 4 cylinder in the construction equipment is a re-badged 4B Cummins with a few changes made to it.

Nope.
