cub 193 plow

I can't get my plow to go in the ground it just skims along the surface any trick to getting it the ground (it is pretty dry but we had 2in rain last week )thanks for the help

how is the share (point) on the plow? A worn share will not go in the ground very well. Also the plow must be set up correctly, height, angle etc

The plow is in near new condition was never used by the original owner I plowed in some food plots for a neighbor last week and it worked fine in new ground I think it could be just to dry up by my house I made every adj. change I could still rides on top the ground.

Thake the share off and grind the point on the bottom to get the point sharp again it needs some "suck" to go into the ground.

i do not know how much you have been around the plow. when you begin plowing, the opening furrow, the plow must be tilted up on the point; then on the second furrow, you make adjustment so the plow is more flat.

O.K. I not saying you are wrong just explain to me how in hard new ground if the point is not down a little how does the plow suck down. Looks like to me it would bounce along the top. The only reason I have is a gentleman call me one time and his Cub plow was doing the same thing I asked him if he had the drawbar adjusted down a little. He did not even have a plow handle. So I gave him one and problem solved. So in this case I was thinking along the same line.
