H white smoke at start up

How concerned should I be about white smoke that goes away after start up. It smells like oil to me. It started right after I changed plugs, although I do not think it is related.

If it doesnt smoke after setting overnight then does smoke after you start it after it has ran already then it is probably the valve guides getting sloppy.

If your weather is any thing like what we have been having could well be simple condensation form the night air being cool and the day being hot.

Exactly! It is only a sign the valve guides are getting a bit worn, which allows some oil to seep into the cylinders while setting. There are probably MORE Farmall Hs that have that issue than do not. It's really nothing to be overly concerned about.
