Hello, I have a 1953 Farmall H with a clutch issue. I have around 2" of free play in the clutch pedal, I know it should only be around 1 1/4", and the rod is threaded all the way to max length. It appears to be disengaging when fully depressed but just barely. Can I adjust this in another way? I hope I don't need a new clutch, it seems to work fine but getting close...
Any help would be much appreciated...

It's time for a new clutch. If it's working okay now, you can just let it be, but it won't get any better.

Thanks, Rusty. I guess in that case I can run it out, I'm not going to harm it any more! So do you recommend one of these rockford style clutch kits? Is it pretty easy to install? Do you happen to know if the kit comes with installation instructions?

Pretty much anything available today is going to be the Rockford style, so it's kind of a moot point. You could probably get by with replacing just the disc, but since all of the other components have to come out for access to the disc, you may as well get a complete clutch kit and be done.

None of the kits I've ever seen, installed, or sold had any kind of instructions. A shop manual will steer you in the right direction, but might still leave you with some questions if you have no experience.

When they reach a certain point the carrier stops movement so the pedal will not return
