I want a chrome straigh pipe for my 806 diesel. Where is a good place to buy one? I want one with a curve on it. I know its supposed to have a 2 15/16 inlet but mine was more like 2 7/8 when i measured it. I would like a 3 or 3 1/4 or even a 3 1/2" pipe thats reduced down to fit the tractor. I dont want to buy a bigger pipe and have a couple ugly reducers clamped to it. It seems like i can find a pipe for anything except an 806. |

I think I'd turn the pipe forward a bit. Which direction the outlet points can have a pretty good effect on how loud it is from any particular spot.

Straight pipe on a 806 ???? you have to be out of your mind . Even with a hair dryer on it they are LOUD . And with out a Muffler you will be deaf in less then and hour under load.

It takes a little longer than an hour, I can still hear. Not always well, but I can! They are stupid loud with a straight pipe under load. I only run a muffler anymore, unless I want to make a real ruckus! -Andy

I had a straight pipe on my 856 non-turbo, but made it long enough to extend above the cab just a few inches. I honestly could not notice much difference in the noise level between the straight pipe and the factory muffler. Not while riding in the cab anyhow.

I have a chrome pipe for my 766 for tractor pulling. I wouldn't want to use it every day that way. Unless you have a turbo on your 806, it will be loud. Turbo's quiet them down considerably. Kent
