Mike, your tractors back

I got an e mail from these guys a few days ago.They are saying it is here in the U.S. now.Ready to be bought.

ALOT of money and A LOT of work to be done to it!!!! EXPENSIVE resto to say the least!!!
 
Make them an offer. I don't think you could offer them little enough to afford it and not offend them. I'm not even sure it is worth half that. Luckily all the stuff that is missing is somewhat available. The injection side of things would start getting spendy. The mag and stuff would be "cheap."
 
I dont think they will consider less.Originally their argument was they have alot of money importing it back to the U.S. (Forget how much?was it something like $4000-$5000 to get it home????)

I havent seen much interest in it,so it might go cheaper????
 
I wouldn't give $5000 just for the shipping and I am some what of a diesel freak.

If it was a TA on the other hand. :lol: I'm sorry...I shouldn't get you started. I need a SMDTA though. I have an MD and I have a SMTA. Now I just need the combination of both of them.
 
I wonder what it would ACTUALLY be worth In OVERLY restored A-1 condition????


(BTW,I do not have ANYTHING against T/A Farmalls,I just dont require one,myself. ;)
 
I bought my father in laws SMTA before I realized how highly sought after they were. Same with my MD. My parents bought it for me for graduation and thought it was pretty much a normal M. They just found it cheap from a family friend.

That tractor would go around $20,000 if it were very well restored. I suppose you might be able to make money on it if you paid their 11k. I doubt it though. Just the tires will cost you around $2000. Trust me on that...I just bought the tires for my WD-9 and they are a more common size than those. They sold or no-sold on at the Mecum auction a couple auctions ago. IIRC it went for $19,000.
