I have a "39" H with a wide front end, the tie rods protrude in front of the machine, I am told it is an IH wide front end, does anyone know where I may obtain a new set of tie rods? the ones I have are bent and twisted and I do not believe I would be able to straighten them. any and all info would be greatly appreciated |

| If the ends are good, new heavy wall 4130 chrome moly tubing can be purchased and used to fabricate new rods. A certified welder should be considered because Tig welding is best practice on that material. As safety is involved, broken or failed tierods are not good. The design leaves the rods out there in the breeze for running into solid objects. Not the best plan, but original. Jim |

| You may need to research the parts manual because I think those tie-rods are supposed to be bent. Good Luck |
